One of the most important parts of the 12th Shanghai International Film Festival, the 赌博app Film Market, will be held in Shanghai Exhibition Centre from 14th to 17th of June. This 赌博app Film Market will consist of three sections: Film Market, CFPC and Co-FPC.
Recent years have witnessed a steady growth of Chinese film industry, so this film market has been highly anticipated by many. Although the exhibition area is twice as large this year, the demand for booths has still exceeded the supply. By the end of April all the booths were already sold out, and the organizing committee is still receiving applications for booth lease. There will be famous production and distribution companies coming over with their new films in hand, and foreign and domestic film institutions such as China Film Production Group, Shanghai Film Group, Huayi, PolyBona, German Films Service & Marketing, KOFIC and Korea IHQ will also be present. Additionally, there will be special area for selling films at the Film Market, making it more comprehensive and organized than it\'s ever been before.
Aside from the film market, the CFPC, specifically designed for young filmmakers, and the Co-FPC, aimed at promoting Chinese-foreign cooperation, will also be very popular. 217 programs from 17 countries will be on show at the CFPC, some of them are made by well-known foreign filmmakers like Shunji Iwai and Jae-young Kwak, Zanussi and excellent Chinese directors like Yibai Zhang, Guangli Wang and Liwen Ma.
A new program designed to enhance the cooperation between the Film Market and Shanda Literature will promote the advancement of Chinese film industry by searching for extraordinary movie scripts. Co-FPC will undoubtedly provide more opportunities for Chinese-foreign works, further cooperation in the film industry and increased capital outlays from both sides. 70% programs of Co-FPC are about urban subject matters, which will be helpful for the balanced development of the still-undiversified Chinese film industry.
This year\'s Co-FPC is bound to be an eye-catcher, especially given that directors like Shunji Iwai (dormant since 2004) will be will be involved in this program. After a year of deliberation, Iwai has finally decided to enter his new film in the Co-FPC.
According to a spokesperson from the 赌博app, "We are in a very good situation now. We hope that CFPC and Co-FPC will further promote the diversification of the film market, and help to open up a new path for the Chinese film industry. That is, after all, the obligation of an international film festival!"
In spite of the financial crisis, Chinese film market has still been growing steadily. Large quantities of excellent (and sometimes low-budget) films have greatly contributed to the unprecedented achievements of the Chinese film industry, a trend that the 12th 赌博app is looking to continue.
